Camden Road the Musical

Camden Road the Musical is a two year long community project in Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells. This area has been overlooked in favour of the main town and the Pantiles. Through vibrant community projects organised by the local community and in partnership with Claque Theatre, the aim is to celebrate the area, boost the confidence of local residents and raise the profile in the wider town.

 

Refreshments Provider

Saturday 6th December 2.30 – 8pm

St Barnabas School
Quarry Road
Tunbridge Wells

Can you help set up and serve refreshments in the school ready for when the Lantern Parade in Camden Road begins? You will be required from 2.30pm til 8pm to run the refreshments stall, serve snacks, take money and clear away at the end of the day.

A demanding, yet vital, part of the celebration.

Skills needed - The ability to be personable and polite under pressure. Good mental arithmetic.

 

 

Lantern Distributer

Saturday 6 th December 12- 5pm

Main Hall, the Camden Centre
Market Square off Camden Road
Tunbridge Wells

Help distribute lanterns to everyone participating in the Lantern Parade. You will provide vital information to those taking part about start times and locations in addition to selling glow sticks.

Skills needed - Organised, Personable and polite under pressure.

Good mental arithmetic

 

 

Parade Marshall

Saturday 6 th December 1 – 6pm

St Barnabas School
Quarry Road
Tunbridge Wells

Help ensure the Lantern Parade stays on track and runs smoothly. You will be briefed on dealing with situations that may arise and walk the 1 mile route prior to the start of the Parade. You will be required from 1pm - 6pm in preparation for around 200/500 people who are expected to participate.

Skills needed - The ability to communicate with authority while remaining friendly and polite.

Be able to walk 1 mile

Ensure everyone participating has a great time while remaining safe
