Wardrobe Volunteer needed
The Changeling theatre company needs 2 volunteers to share the responsibilities for the costumes during the summer tour of Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor (in a fifties style).
The theatre company is touring Kent, putting on evening performances at a range of beautiful historic properties such as Penshurst Place and Rochester Castle.
The tour begins in July and finishes mid August.
The volunteer will -
- Look after the wardrobe
- repair costumes
- sewing
- washing
- ironing
- dress the actors
Skills needed -
- to be reliable and able to commit to the tour
- patient and calm
- sewing
Volunteers also need to have their own transport - as you will be responsible for transporting the costumes to each performance around the county and back to the base theatre for cleaning.
