There is no big time commitment, you can volunteer for just the events that appeal to you.

There are several ways that you can join – the fastest way is to apply right now online.

You should also agree to abide by the code of conduct as outlined in the volunteer agreement (pdf download).
As a member of the team, once you start volunteering you will receive a Kent eVent team polo shirt and ID badge to help identify you at events. For more information about volunteering with us please download the handbook (pdf download).
How do I get involved in events?
In addition to advertising forthcoming events on the events calendar, We will regularly send you a newsletter by email, with all the events and volunteering opportunities available.
If you see anything that you would like to get involved in, simply contact us and register your interest.
Once we have received your interest, your name and contact details will be added to a list that is sent to event organisers before the event starts.
In the run up to the event you should be written to or emailed by the organisers to tell you about the volunteer role and explain any process you need to go through before volunteering (an induction meeting for example).
If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us, as it is important for us to know that organisers are contacting volunteers in plenty of time before the event starts.
You only need register for events that interest you and there is no minimum requirement.
Are there any costs involved?
Volunteering should not cost you anything. Organisations are expected to cover reasonable out of pocket expenses.
